描述： 1. I’m currently preparing for the IELTS and looking for a teacher who has a recognized English teaching qualification, such as CELTA, DELTA, or TESOL, as well as solid experience teaching IELTS.
I spent several years in an English-immersion environment when I was in elementary school. However, in junior high and high school, I switched to a more traditional Taiwanese approach to learning English, where classes were mostly taught in Chinese and focused heavily on grammar rules, textbooks, and exam preparation. Because of this, I feel that I still have some intuition for English, but I sometimes get confused when my intuition doesn’t seem to match the grammar rules I’ve learned.
I’ve also realized that I don’t learn particularly well through Chinese explanations, memorizing grammar rules, and doing large amounts of test practice. At the same time, I’m not yet completely confident that I could keep up with a very intensive English-only class.
Id******** , I’d like a teacher who can use English as the main language in class while giving clear explanations in Chinese when necessary. More importantly, I’m looking for someone who can first id******** ******** my actual difficulties are and then give specific, individualized feedback across all four IELTS skills, rather than relying heavily on fixed templates or teaching test-taking strategies alone.
