Job Description- Perform online and brick & mortar product research in the Traditional Chinese Medicine for pets in Asia (China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Singapore, and other major Asian market that may have such products; and provide research report- analyze and identify reputable/quality product and suppliers (retailers, wholesaler/distributors, manufacturers) to the client.- recommend and develop a product portfolio consist of various product line suitable for the most common pet ailments.- process purchase order with suppliers and ensure orders are fulfilled correctly which includes tracking and making inquiries when necessary, and payment to suppliers are made promptly according to terms- Manage supplier and resolve issues with suppliers- Track results and make continuous improvements- Other task shall be supplemented at a later dateQualification- Strong interest and ability in business and enjoy working with people- At least 2 - 3 years of related experience (market research, retail, ecommerce, sourcing/vendor management, customer support, etc.)- Able to communicate well in both Chinese and English (at least intermediate level)- Strong integrity, ownership, proactive, quick learner, detail oriented with solid communication skills- Knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a plus- Preferably living in or have lived in TaiwanWe are a sourcing/procurement entity looking for exceptional individual with the interest and qualification for the above position to join our client’s growing startup.
