My name is Scott Jan, and I am a Taiwanese Canadian citizen who lived in Canada for over 20+ years. I was graduated from Simon Fraser University with a bachelor degree. I had worked in McDonald's as swing manager for over 5+ years, as well Canadian banking industry for over 8+ years. I also volunteer in strata building for over 8+ years and serve as strata vice president for 2 years. I had experience in teaching children or adults for English, particularly for native speaking English conversation and business (commercial) English.
My educational style is both Western and Eastern, in which I focus on English conversation and hand on experiences rather than only book reading. I think listening and speaking skills is very important for learning English. However, I also think reading and grammar learning is important, but should learn like a native English speaker. I champion the combination of independent thinking, creativity, and basic English skills.
