1.自我介紹
Lin Chia Tung is my name; I was born on November 24, 1983. The reason why my parents gave me this name is that they both hope me can acquire great accomplishments not only during the period of time of studying but also be trained myself to be a responsible individual in this global civilization. In the similar manner, the expectation of mine is to make my best effort to achieve those goals as well as have contributions to the current society.
Basically, I grow up from a small-scale family with four core members: Father, Mother, my elder sibling, and I. Meinong(美濃), one of the gorgeous countrysides in Kaohsiung, is my birthplace. To gain more and much better education, my parents decided to move to Taichung City almost four decades long. My father, who has already retired for several years, once worked at the government in Nantou County; my mother is a retired teacher from her teaching career at an elementary school in Taichung. As for my sibling, who is older than I and now is working at National Chung Hsing University. And as for me, interested in English/bilingual teaching (education) and majored in foreign language instruction, in June of 2007, I was awarded a bachelor degree who had fulfilled and passed the core credits of the program in the Department of Foreign Language Instruction at Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages. Between the year of 2008 and 2009, I have been to Britain to study the graduate program in MA TESOL (Master of Arts in TESOL) and I have completed all the core module courses as well as the master dissertation. On the date of 22nd January 2010, I was awarded as a master candidate who had fulfilled the core credits of the full time program and passed the dissertation at the University of Leicester.
To trace back the study career of undergraduate era, in my freshman year, I had attempted to be the assistant in the Department of Foreign Language Instruction. This job was not only to help teachers organize the courses with multiple teaching plans, but give students guidance to their schoolwork. In the sophomore year, I had joined the DFLI Students Chapter, the aim of this group was to create a book that could describe and represent everything about the FLI department. During the senior years, I took part in the group of media design as for the project of graduation exhibition. In this group, I had learnt some computer skills by using some software such as Dreamweaver and FrontPage to design web pages. Briefly, to me, having a set of computer skills in the school life was very important.
During the process of gaining knowledge, my parents have always been playing the significant role models who kept telling me the importance of study as well as the precious of knowledge; similarly, reminding me of hard working with great patience and endurance can be the key to success. In addition, they have never stopped educating me to have a positive attitude of how to get along with different people. Also, based on my parents’ teaching, I have been trained to be a cheerful as well as easy-going person and apt to communicating with others. To sum up, I am so glad to have them both along my side in the process of acquiring knowledge since they can offer me endless support and encouragement.
Based on the working experiences of English teaching and bilingual education project, I have realized different languages have played an important role in the global societies nowadays. Take Chinese language education as an example, the Ministry of Education promotes Chinese language education as a vital program in shaping contemporary cultural trends and offers significant advantages. As globalization develops, the demand for Chinese as a bridge language in commerce, diplomacy, and cultural exchange continues to grow. Chinese language education not only enables people worldwide to engage with the world’s most spoken language but also fosters an appreciation for the rich heritage and evolving modern culture of Chinese-speaking regions. In conclusion, this dynamic contributes to global cross-cultural understanding and enhances individual competitiveness in an interconnected world.

In my previous teaching experience (8 years of teaching English), I have helped more than 50 students to pass GEPT test (Beginner and Intermediate Level). During the time of teaching English in junior high level class in different branches of cram schools, over 60 students acquired A or A+ on the academic performance exam.
