Hello, I am Renee, an English tutor with a background in teaching and extensive experience in both private tutoring and classroom instruction. I graduated from the Department of English at National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) and hold a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from NTNU. I have worked as a full-English teacher at the experimental school pioneered by Professor Ping-Cheng Yeh at National Taiwan University, collaborating with foreign teachers. I also have over five years of teaching experience, both privately and in school settings, and I hold a certified teaching license.

✨ English Proficiency: My English skills are far above the CEFR B2 level required by the Ministry of Education for English teachers, reaching CEFR C1 or higher. I hold several international English certifications, including ILTEA C1 Advanced, TOEFL iBT 108, and Cambridge English Scale 180+.
🔅 English Background: I graduated from NTNU, which is known for its rigorous English teaching program. During my university years, I took advanced English courses at the ELC language school in York, UK. I was selected as a representative of outstanding Taiwanese youth to participate in the World Youth Leaders Conference in Chicago and California, USA, organized by the American Institute in Taiwan. I have also worked and studied in the UK and served as a teaching assistant for NTNU's grammar, syntax, and travel courses.
🌼 Teaching Ability: I am well-versed in the curriculum and learning objectives from elementary to high school levels. I have tutored 20 high school students with varying degrees of proficiency and learning challenges, with 90% of my students being admitted to their first-choice schools, including NTU, NTNU, NCCU, Jianzhong, Beinu, Zhongshan, Songshan, NTNU Affiliated High School, Jinhua, and Longmen. I tailor my teaching methods to the needs and proficiency levels of my students, offering both bilingual and fully English classes.
