I am proud of myself for being able to maintain my full-time academic career at Portland State University with good grades while having a full-time job. I have been in the U.S. for 7 years and am fluent in English, and have adapted to the culture well. In addition, living in the diverse and liberal city, Portland, I’ve met many people from different countries and cultures which has expanded my horizons and made my life more colorful.
