我是一個畢業於英語系的應屆畢業生，在大學四年的學習中，我曾接受過各種不同的翻譯訓練及實作。我的翻譯經驗包含了須將各種行話及口語以合適的文字將英語文本進行在地化的「新聞翻譯」和在文法及專有名詞的理解上有高度要求的學術及刊物(國家地理雜誌向)翻譯上有些心得(我個人有以閱覽課外著作來吸收新知的習慣)並有自信能夠勝任相關文本的翻譯工作。
本人目前身任台灣考科蘭醫學研究及資訊組織擔任無給薪的翻譯志工，以此增加自身工作經驗和翻譯實力。
I'm an English major graduate who is currently looking for translation commissions between English and Chinese. I've been trained to translate mentioned languages in different forms and styles over the course of my college life up to four years. My experience includes rendering English news reports into Chinese, which is a type of composition that requires proper localization of jargons and slangs during the process of translation, and the translation of academic / National Geographic types of articles (Topics pertaining to Science, Culture, Nature, et cetera.) that requires high linguistic competence and comprehension of specific terminologies between two languages without downgrading the integrity of the original texts, thus I have confidence in my professionalism being able to provide decent translation service to my clients.
Now, I serve as a voluntary translator assisting Cochrane, an international medical research organization that issues medical articles for the public welfare, to translate their designated research paper for charitable deeds.
