Hello! This is Reece. Your best English learning partner.

Do you have these problems when you are learning English?

Have you ever been confused with English grammar? Every time you learn grammar rules in English class, do you find yourself not knowing how to apply them when writing an essay, reading an article, or speaking in real life?
         
Or, whenever an English speaker is talking to you, you luckily understand what he says but unfortunately have no idea how to express your thoughts  in English?
         
When you are doing English reading or listening exercises, you think that they are all correct, but you end up getting zero points?
         
Are you also afraid of speaking English because of your poor pronunciation, vocabulary, or grammar? You may always worry that you could be mocked by someone saying “Your English is poor!”?
         
You love many English songs, series, and films. But, when you are listening or watching them without subtitles, it feels like all Greek to you? (You have no clue what they say.)

Well, I am willing to help you with all these questions that you may encounter when you are learning English. Follow my instructions and your English will gradually improve!

« What the course will consist of… »

In the lessons I would like to start off with a short presentation all about getting to know you and your current ability in a no pressure environment. After this first class I will have a clear idea of how we will be progressing forward. All courses contain a mix of engaging materials which will be demonstrated through presentations and structured books which will contain games keeping the classes interactive and fun!  

« Language I Speak »

I mainly speak Mandarin and Taiwanese (Hokkien), which are my mother tongues. Of course, I also speak English, which is the language I have been learning my entire life. In addition, I have learnt Korean and French. In my spare time, I often watch Korean and French dramas, which allows me to learn about different cultures.

I totally agree that someone might say “You are such a language nerd!”. Well, I do feel happy and joyful when I am learning languages. As I learn more, it allows me not only to be able to use those languages but also to realise their cultural difference. To me, the more languages I learn, the better I know the world.

To put a long story short, I will share my tips and experience on learning languages with you while I am accompanying and guiding you to learn English.

教學方法：

國中英文的部分，我會為學生準備合適教材，其中搭配有趣的遊戲，幫助學生記憶困難單字。

聽力以及閱讀的部分，我將讓學生進行大量的試題演練，分析考點並整理重點，讓學生馬上抓到出題方向。

此外，為了增進學生對於英檢考試中要求的寫作跟口說能力。我會在課堂上分析文章的敘事法，也參考高分作文的書寫邏輯，帶領學生一起增進寫作能力；口說的部分，我將分成「發音」與「對話」兩部分進行教學，分析發音並協助學生優化他們的英語發音，說出一口好聽的英文。至於對話，我會提供學生回答問題的方法，進而讓學生「有梗」回答問題。

最後，針對高中或中級英檢，我會為學生準備相關教材，在授課過程中，大量補充英檢中級和學測英語科重點，盡可能地降低學生在應試時不理解題目的情況。
