My name is Ying Chang Lu. I studied undergraduate at National Tsing Hua University. The experience, however, was quite different from others. I started my freshman at the University of Taipei. At first, I thought I could wield the exchange program for broadening my viewpoint. Unfortunately, due to the administrative issue, that plan cannot fulfil. Therefore, there is no use staying on that campus and it made me decide to take the exam for transferring. With steady study and effort, the chance rendered me go to NTHU, yet this was another difficulty.
At that point, I chose mathematic as my major. However, due to a lack of understanding, I ran into a great ordeal and trepidation. Luckily, at that time, I consulted with professor Hisu Hau Lin to ask about some of my wonderings. That was the linchpin for me to switch my target on physic. Within the remaining years, gratefully, none of the great difficulty I would surmount. Also, with the tutelage from the department, I had acquired aplenty insights on pioneering development.
Now, as a student at NTU, there is no denying that the privilege is enormous. I consider, however, to be a part of this system, there is a place in which I could immerse myself. With a thoroughgoing investigation, the scholar collaboration with Russia gives me a chance for a dual degree. Although by far, the process is still footing, my deep trust lays in my professor’s endeavour. As for my future study, after receiving some courses at National Tsing Hua University, the enlightenment was so great that I have a stake in quantum computing. Even though my original passion zoomed-in cosmology, the developmental importance will be increasingly focused on “quantum computation”. Thereby, I believe this embryonic technic will shape the world upside down, and probably do a great deal of improvement in cosmology.
