1. 數據分析 Data Analysis
我在美國奧瑞岡的區立醫院有五年的數據分析經驗。主要使用 Qlik 這個軟體讀取、清理、及架構資料，並建立互動式的頁面以及自動化的報告。處理的資料來自病人資訊系統、病人滿意度調查系統、奧瑞岡醫院彙整系統等等。我所分析的結果，連帶提升了病人滿意度、急診與外科的效率、以及醫院的市占率。另外也有使用R及Python的經驗。
I have over five years of experience in data analysis at a rural hospital in Oregon. Qlik is the software I used primarily on the ETL process, as well as building interactive visualizations and automated reports. I work with data sources including electronic health record, patient experience surveys, as well as state-level all-payor data. My analysis provided insights that increased patient satisfaction, reduced patient length of stay in the emergency room, increased operating room efficiency, and increased market share of the hospital.
I also have experience in using R and Python for statistical analysis.
2. 英文教學
台灣的英文教育大多偏重於背單字和文法，以至於大多數的我們即便學了很久的英文，依然無法使用英語溝通。我雖然不是外文系，但我的英文學習方法讓我可以在美國交換學生、念碩士，並且留在美國工作五年。我工作的地方更是一個完全沒有華人的美國鄉下小鎮。我的教學重視聽力、口說及發音，並會分享美國道地的用法以及一些風俗習慣。適合有英文溝通需求的人。
3. Chinese Tutor
I have over 3 years of Chinese teaching experience. I taught at Madison Chinese School and I also taught one-on-one classes. One of the students is my husband, who is an English speaker, so I have a deep understanding of the difficulties one might encounter. I will use pinyin and focus on daily conversations in the class, so you would be able to navigate easily in a Chinese-speaking country, like Taiwan.
