As a new tutor in this platform, I do not have any previous experience in teaching. However, the client that I would prefer are those who allows freedom in teaching, and critical in giving suggestions for improvement.

To be honest, I do not have a direct experience as a tutor. However, during my bachelor degree years, I volunteered as a teaching staff in an orphanage. I tutored two kids (aged 7 to 12) at a time every fortnight and I must admit that watching my students getting better in the subject. Other than that, as the second child of six siblings, I am used to teaching my little sisters.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, my preferred mean of teaching is using video call. However, I am open to discuss further should you have other preference 😊

I believe that one can remember more of a lesson they can enjoy. Therefore, I will come up with a teaching plan based on the age and level of the client, and include the interactive part every now and then. I was brought up in an environment which emphasize that every lesson is two-way, therefore I would make every lesson a step closer for my students to become better in expressing themselves.

I would suggest a client to choose someone they can trust upon having a conversation with the candidate. Sometimes, a person is more than what is portrayed from their profile 😊
